About the Position

Verato is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with a passion for storytelling, content creation, and market insight. This role sits at the intersection of market research, product positioning, and content strategy. You’ll drive deep understanding of our buyers and the market landscape, then translate those insights into compelling content and messaging that fuels awareness, engagement, and conversion across the buyer journey.

Reporting to the Director or VP of Product Marketing, you’ll partner closely with demand generation, sales, product management, and customer success teams to ensure our content and positioning are both informed by real market needs and optimized for impact. If you love synthesizing complex ideas into clear, differentiated messages — and you have a knack for uncovering what really matters to buyers — this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Market and Buyer Research - Conduct customer interviews, win/loss analysis, competitive research, and third-party insight reviews to inform personas, messaging, and content strategies.
  • Content Development - Own the creation of high-impact, market-facing content including solution briefs, blogs, white papers, competitive battlecards, analyst briefings, and thought leadership.
  • Messaging and Positioning - Collaborate with senior PMMs to refine positioning frameworks, value propositions, and messaging guides that resonate with health systems, payers, and life sciences segments.
  • Campaign Enablement - Partner with demand gen and digital marketing to develop content for nurture programs, web pages, and campaigns that drive qualified pipeline.
  • Sales Support - Support development of sales tools like pitch decks, FAQs, talk tracks, and customer-facing one-pagers based on research and content themes.
  • Metrics and Optimization - Track engagement and performance of key content assets. Use insights to optimize future content strategy and inform go-to-market plans.
Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Public Health, or Healthcare Informatics) is a plus
  • Ideally certified in Product Marketing and/or Product Management from Pragmatic University

Experience

Required:

  • 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or market research (preferably in B2B SaaS)
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published content or enablement materials
  • Experience conducting and synthesizing customer or competitive research
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Highspot, and content CMS platforms
  • Passion for translating technical or complex topics into digestible, buyer-friendly narratives

Nice to have:

  • Experience in financial services and/or healthcare (provider, payer, life sciences, or health tech)
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM), CRM, or data interoperability tools
