Responsible for the design of industrial water treatment equipment and associated components. Capable of working with AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS software to create 2D and 3D drawings and models.
Requirements
- Generates project documentation including equipment general arrangement (GA) drawings, skid/platform layouts and details, spool fabrication details as well as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Develop site equipment layouts during bid phases to ensure system feasibility. Travel to customer facilities for site surveys to document and understand equipment locations, restrictions and system connections when required.
- Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Designs products or systems that include instruments, controls, motors, and/or machines.
- Support manufacturing installations activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications as well as recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Ability to interface with and collaborate with outsourced drafting and design teams.
