Middle QA Automation Engineer (VeliX)

We invite a Middle QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript) to join the VeliX team within the Turnkey.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain API and UI automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Contribute to the automation framework by implementing new modules and updating existing ones
• Create test cases and participate in test planning
• Execute regular automated test runs and analyse results
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with developers to investigate defects and validate fixes
• Analyse API/SSR responses, logs, and network events

Skills and experience you will need:

• 2–3+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (JS/TS); knowledge of Cypress/WebdriverIO is a plus
• Good proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with REST API testing; familiarity with Swagger and Postman
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD practices
• Good understanding of HTTP, cookies/session/storage, headers, and CORS
• Basic experience with SSR or a strong interest in learning it

• Experience working with GraphQL
• Integration testing experience
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Understanding of performance testing
• Experience with cloud environments, Kibana/Grafana
