Lead a high-impact engineering team at Vantage, own the backbone that powers our platform, and coach engineers of all levels.

Requirements

3 to 5+ years managing software engineering teams
7 to 10+ years total engineering experience shipping and operating backend systems
Proven success in leading platform and data pipeline work that serves multiple teams
Strong cloud fundamentals with Azure or AWS
Solid backend experience, including B2B API design and integration
Experience leading observability and on-call initiatives
Experience with data pipelines: design, scheduling, and operation of ETL or ELT with Snowflake and object storage
Experience working in a security-minded environment
Track record of hiring, mentoring, and performance-managing engineers across levels
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfortable collaborating with Product, Data, and Security
