Job Summary:

The develops and implements interactive, scenario-based learning programs for vendor applications, course evaluations and proficiency assessments system implementations under occasional guidance. Utilizes communication, instructional design and technical skills to meet training program objectives as a credentialed trainer.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

a.Knowledge of multiple EPIC applications
c.Hands on training experience and/or facilitation experience
d.Flexibility and adaptability
e.Experience with remote training platforms like MS Teams
d. Knowledge and application of Adult Learning Theory

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers Epic pathway training for all staff.
    • Administers classroom evaluations and provides course updates to management.
    • Uses software programs to develop learning materials. Applies strategies of adult learning as well as appropriate instructional strategies to optimize learning.
    • Ensures that all material is current and distributes updated material to participants. Available to train all necessary classes, including some weekend and after hours classes. Follows all required facilitator notes and procedures.
    • Consults as needed for special projects that require knowledge of computerized applications or processes that affect patient care and or new implementation.
    • Collaborates within the department and organization.
