Role Overview
The Data Migration Lead has accountability to the Head of Data Migration Finance, working closely with the Lead Solution Architect, Regional Technology Team, Local Markets, Data Migration Team for delivering Global Data Migration Strategy, High level Solution Design and Data Migration Approach in line with regional data migration requirements. As we grow our team, the Data Migration Lead will have to work with other data migration tools specific to business platforms which are in scope and conduct POCs for feasibility of the data migration tools/products. Implement best practices and build reusable data templates and ETL code.

Role Responsibilities
Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to understand the organisations vision, strategy, and Data Migration needs with current and future state in mind
Provide technical expertise in Azure Data Platform
Design, implement and support Data Extraction, Data Cleansing, Standardization and Enrichment, Data Loading, Data Reconciliations, Error Handling and Audit Reporting
Develop and support ETL cycles for data migration and cutover activities.
Work with Regional technology team/ Local IT Team to deliver market specific data migration strategy, data migration requirements and document the same and support to get the approvals for the migration project from the local markets.
Works collaboratively as part of a team of other disciplines, including solution architects, business analysts, project managers to deliver data migrations across the business platforms and markets.
Lead a team technical resource for ETL developments.



Technical Capabilities Demonstrable hands-on experience working as an Sr ETL/ELT developer / architect with functional understanding in Finance and Operations, CRM and Project/Program management tools/products.
Extensive design, implementation and support experience in Azure cloud data platform and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps.
Expertise with ELT using ADF, implementing complex views, stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL/ELT concepts.
Proven understanding of Data Integrations, Data Quality Management and Master Data Management Areas.
Expertise in one of the ERP/CRM data migration projects, Deep understanding of ERP(Finance and Operations) and CRM Data models
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau will be added advantage.
Experience with Agile development methodologies (desired).
