Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to support greenfield, agentic AI platforms within a Big Four Consulting firm’s technology group. This role will focus on deploying, operating, and scaling Azure-based application and AI infrastructure across multiple active initiatives. The engineer will work within the client’s enterprise governance and security model, partnering closely with internal cloud and security teams while ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of modern, microservices-based platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Azure Container Apps, with readiness to transition to AKS as scale and complexity increase.

• Support microservices-based applications built on .NET APIs with React front-end components.

• Enable and support AI-enabled workloads leveraging Azure OpenAI and related Azure services.

• Partner with the client’s Cloud Technology and Security teams to provision subscriptions, resource groups, and security configurations.

• Implement and maintain DevSecOps best practices aligned with the client’s governance, compliance, and security standards.

• Support production environments with a focus on availability, scalability, and operational resilience.

• Collaborate with multiple product and engineering teams across concurrent projects.

• Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding to the client’s security, compliance, and operating procedures.

Qualifications

Technical skills:

• Senior-level experience in DevOps or DevSecOps, typically 7+ years.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.

• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads using Azure Container Apps; familiarity with AKS is required for future-state readiness.

• Working knowledge of microservices architectures and modern application deployment patterns.

• Experience supporting .NET-based APIs and modern web applications.

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI or AI-enabled application deployments.

• Experience operating in large, highly governed enterprise environments with strong security and compliance requirements.

• Experience working with Cosmos DB and or MongoDB.

• Experience with Azure Service Bus or event-driven architectures

Soft skills:

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed, cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable working within structured enterprise governance and security processes.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent initiatives.

• High ownership mindset with strong attention to reliability, risk mitigation, and operational discipline.

Bonus skills:

• Hands-on experience with AKS and Kubernetes in production environments.

• Exposure to MLOps concepts or AI model deployment workflows.

• Prior experience supporting platforms within large professional services or consulting organizations.
