We’re growing intentionally — and we’re looking for an Accounting Operations Manager who can elevate how our team works and our tech stack.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly across tools, timelines, files, and people:
Review workflows and identify process gaps or optimization opportunities across the delivery cycle
Evaluate accounting and data tools, scout new technology, and recommend the best solutions
Manage client onboarding capacity, timing, and budget to ensure new clients start smoothly
Track KPI's, such as client and person-level responsiveness and speed-to-close to keep delivery efficient
Train the team on workflows, tools, and process updates to ensure strong and consistent execution
Maintain and implement SOPs so workflows are consistent, clear, and up to date
Monitor team capacity, identify overloads or spare bandwidth, and surface upcoming hiring needs
What You Bring
⭐ 4+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, or practice management
⭐ Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
⭐ You're a tech wizard and very comfortable with new software
⭐ Clear communicator who can collaborate with accountants, managers, and leadership
⭐ Self-starter mentality, proactive in fixing problems before they become fires
Bonus if you have:
✨ Experience in an accounting firm or multi-client environment
✨ Familiarity with accounting workflows and tech (month-end processes, deadlines, client transitions)
