Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The North Dakota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (NDPQC) is a statewide initiative dedicated to advancing maternal and infant health through innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. We work across both birthing and non-birthing facilities in North Dakota, bringing together healthcare providers, community organizations, and policymakers to address critical health challenges.
NDPQC's mission is to empower healthcare teams with the tools, resources, and support they need to deliver outstanding care. We believe in the power of data-driven quality improvement to identify gaps, track progress, and implement meaningful changes that lead to better health outcomes. NDPQC works with birthing hospitals and non-birthing facilities in the state on projects related to drivers of maternal morbidity and mortality, such as substance use, mental health, hypertensive disorders, and more.
Developer needed to design and create an online digital resource map for healthcare providers across North Dakota until September 2025
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop an interactive digital resource map for healthcare providers
- Create user-friendly interface and navigation system
- Implement database integration for resource management
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility compliance
- Develop documentation for maintenance and updates
- Coordinate with NDPQC staff on resource content and functionality requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Current enrollment in web development, computer science, or related program
- Experience with web development and interactive mapping tools
- Strong programming skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Database management experience
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of healthcare sector preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
