Description
The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan (bme.umich.edu), a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill tenured and tenure-track Medical School and College of Engineering faculty positions at all ranks, with a special emphasis on established investigators at the Associate and Full Professor levels. While applicants from all areas of biomedical engineering will be considered, the following areas are of special interest:
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Image-guided therapy
- Molecular & functional imaging
- Cell & tissue engineering
Suitable candidates may enjoy partial appointments in relevant clinical or basic science departments within the Medical School or College of Engineering. We are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community at the University of Michigan.

Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in engineering or a physical science-related discipline and demonstrated excellence in, or a commitment to, teaching, research, and scholarship. M.D./Ph.D. candidates are also encouraged to apply.
