IT Systems Consultant

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an IT Systems Consultant to join our UniQue team in Brussels!

What will you be bringing to the team?

• You will work in close cooperation with other colleagues at the institution to gather and analyse system requirements.
• Follow-up of the institution's Knowledge Management System evolution. E.g., follow-up of Confluence upgrades to a new version, or the migration to new VMs
• Use out-of-the-box add-ons for Confluence.
• Administration and configuration of Confluence.
• Take part in the definition and documentation of operational procedures.
• Help defining and documenting the configuration of systems and infrastructure.
• Delivery of technical support to first and second level support teams.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• A Bachelor degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience is required, as per below:
• Minimum 2 year of experience as Confluence administrator
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Frontend or Backend developer
• Previous experience as SharePoint administrator or developer would be highly valued
• Experience of administration and configuration of Atlassian Confluence, and integration with other systems
• Experience in several aspects of the software development process, namely business analysis, software modelling and design, frontend or backend development, and risk assessment
• Experience writing technical documentation in English
• Atlassian Confluence Administratorcertification would be considered a plus
• Experience in technical training or user support is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SaSS, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, XML/JSON, Velocity, Soy, Groovy, Angular, React, Node.js or Java is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Scrum or Kanban is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux systems, Apache/Tomcat and MySQL is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Power Platform is considered a plus.
