Infrastructure Consultant

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing, and we are looking for an Infrastructure Consultant to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Work closely with Architects and Analysts in gathering requirements and specifications from clients and users and translating them into technical designs
• Interpret relevant application development, operations, and infrastructure implications of the developed solution
• Utilize architectural solutions to map the client’s business issues to an end-to-end technology solution
• Assess and optimize IT Infrastructure, IT operations, and service delivery
• Participate in examining technologies and operations related to IT infrastructure environments, evaluate and report findings, and make recommendations based on findings
• Monitor and manage technical client relationships and the status of ongoing engagements
• Implement infrastructure maintenance routines and schedules
• Work with other practice areas and provide subject matter expertise related to IT infrastructure systems
• Assist in the design of and Project Management for the implementation of new technologies
• Participate in Business development activities, including developing project scope definition, work plans, and proposals

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant industry business practice, business consulting, or technical consulting
• Strong interest in infrastructure technologies and willingness to learn; research emerging technologies and participate in the development of thought leadership articles
• Experience in data networking technologies, including protocols, design, security, and business continuity
• Extensive experience deploying and managing infrastructures using Kubernetes-based platforms, such as Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Proven track record in architecting and maintaining high-availability systems to ensure minimal downtime
• Adept at designing and implementing robust backup solutions tailored to safeguard critical data and systems
• Demonstrated expertise in integrating resilient storage and disaster recovery strategies within containerized environments
• Proficient in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance to ensure peak system reliability
• Strong focus on developing and enforcing security policies and access controls within cloud-native environments
• Experience implementing and supporting or consulting on IT Infrastructure
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Hands-on experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience and willingness to work in an international/multicultural environment
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
