Are you looking for a new challenge in an innovative, forward-thinking environment? Would you like to actively shape the future of construction and address key challenges such as the skilled labor shortage, material waste, and inefficiencies on the construction site with state-of-the-art robotics?

You have solid experience in project and construction site management and either deep knowledge or a strong enthusiasm for 3DCP (3D Concrete Printing) technologies. Your commitment not only drives the industrialization of the construction site but also promotes resource-efficient material use, which plays a crucial role in concrete 3D printing both today and in the future.

Do you think strategically, act innovatively, and are process-oriented? In addition, you have experience in sales or business development and excel at building networks and developing partnerships. As a team leader, do you also bring strong communication and leadership skills to motivate your team to set new standards in the construction industry?

Then, join us in shaping the future of construction as ‘Team Leader Sales & Technology 3D Concrete Printing’, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a strategic plan for 3DCP in alignment with the Umdasch Group's strategy.
  • Identification of growth potentials and opportunities (both organic and inorganic) and development of new business areas.
  • Definition of the go-to-market strategy, business model, and the creation of a strong ecosystem for the successful execution of 3DCP projects.
  • Overseeing end-to-end management of commercial 3DCP projects, from lead generation to project completion, including contractual negotiations.
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards in all activities in compliance with industry requirements and regulations.
  • Market and trend monitoring of 3DCP technologies and products, as well as initiating development initiatives.
  • Fostering a collaborative working environment and working closely with internal teams.
  • Maintaining and expanding the stakeholder network consisting of clients, suppliers, designers, technology partners, and service providers.
  • Budgeting and resource management for 3D printing go-to-market (G2M) projects.

We are looking for individuals with a solid technical background in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field, and several years of site management experience, preferably in construction management. Additionally, you have experience in business development within the construction products or services sector, and you demonstrate strong entrepreneurial, strategic, and solution-oriented thinking. As a communication talent, you enjoy acting as an interface and appreciate working with both internal and external stakeholders. Along with your excellent project management skills, the following competencies complete your profile:

  • Extensive expertise in building materials and construction processes, as well as experience with or a strong interest in emerging technologies like 3D concrete printing.
  • Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Good knowledge of relevant construction standards and building regulations in Germany, coupled with a keen interest in shaping and establishing them for the emerging 3D printing technology.
  • Strong negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and presentation strength.
  • A high degree of responsibility, independence, and self-motivation.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (approx. 30% across Europe).
  • Very good knowledge of German and English.

Nice to have:

  • Product management expertise in the construction chemistry, connector technology, concrete products, or formwork industries.
  • Experience in Lean Construction and construction site logistics.
  • Affinity for automation and robotics.

What we offer:

  • The opportunity to play a key role in the expansion and further development of innovative 3D printing technologies and to shape the future of construction with a dynamic team.
  • An attractive and modern working environment in a successful, international family-owned company.
  • Numerous professional and personal development opportunities.

A competitive salary is offered for this position, depending on specific qualifications and professional experience.

We look forward to receiving your application!
