About the Role

We are seeking a Web Designer for a Charitable Organisation that facilitates cross-cultural integration by bringing music and education. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Wix and a proven track record of designing and optimizing websites for improved user experience and search engine visibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to understand website goals and requirements.
• Redesign the website using Wix or EditorX, ensuring a modern, user-friendly, and visually appealing design.
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance the website’s search engine rankings.
• Optimize website performance and enhance user experience, especially for donors and event bookers.
• Integrate relevant plugins and tools to enhance website functionality.
• Provide a written ‘standard operating procedure’ and a one-hour online training session for Concerts for Compassion staff on maintaining and updating the website.
• Aesthetic changes to the website will ideally include: Updating to sans-serif font, creating a custom layout with three-dimensional elements, drop-down menus, team/artist visibility, and a home page with easily understandable statistics/outreach.

Requirements

• Proven experience in website redesign using Wix.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience with SEO optimization.
• Portfolio showcasing previous website redesign projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
