About the Role

We are is seeking a web developer or designer for a global multimedia+networking company to redesign their existing website, which is currently built on the Wix platform, into a fully responsive WordPress site. The new site should maintain a similar look and feel to the current design, but with a slightly simpler and more streamlined approach.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the current website design, content, and layout to understand the requirements and develop a plan for the WordPress redesign.
2. Set up a new WordPress installation and configure it to meet the project's needs.
3. Convert the existing website content (text, images, etc.) into the new WordPress site, ensuring that the layout and structure are similar to the current design.
4. Implement responsive design techniques to ensure that the new site looks and functions optimally across various devices and screen sizes.
5. Test the new WordPress site thoroughly for functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

1. Proficient in WordPress development, including custom theme creation, plugin integration, and website optimization.
2. Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and techniques.
3. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent design and branding across the website.
5. Familiarity with website performance optimization and best practices for site speed and security.
