About the Role

Our client, an agency in Chicago is seeking talented freelance mid-level voice actors for an ongoing project. The project involves voicing a manuscript and bringing it to life through the voice actors' unique vocal skills. The work can be performed remotely, without the need for physical presence at any location. The commitment required for this project is expected to span a day or two. The agency is excited to receive offers and explore potential collaborations with qualified voice actors.

Responsibilities:

• Study and familiarize yourself with the provided manuscript, character descriptions, and any relevant stylistic guidelines.
• Prepare and practice the assigned voiceover parts, ensuring accurate delivery of dialogue, narration, and character portrayals.
• Record high-quality voiceover performances using professional-grade equipment and software.
• Maintain consistent vocal quality, energy, and emotional nuances throughout the recording sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mid-level voice actor, with a strong portfolio showcasing audiobook or similar voiceover work.
• Excellent vocal range, control, and versatility to convincingly portray various characters and narratives.
• Ability to interpret and convey the tone, emotions, and nuances of the written material through vocal performance.
• Proficiency in using professional-grade recording equipment, software, and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality performances.
