About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced music composer to create original music for their travel documentary film. The film, spanning approximately two hours in length, documents their journey through various countries over the past two years. The composer's role will be to compose music that complements the tone, mood, and narrative of the documentary, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Review and familiarise yourself with the two-hour travel documentary film
• Understand the creative vision and desired emotional impact for the film
• Compose original music scores that seamlessly integrate with the documentary's narrative and visuals
• Create music that captures the essence of the different countries and cultures featured in the film
• Ensure the music effectively conveys the appropriate moods and emotions throughout the documentary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional composer, with a strong portfolio of film/documentary scoring
• Expertise in creating original music compositions across various genres and styles
• Proficiency in using music composition software and audio production tools
• Ability to compose music that effectively captures the desired emotions and moods
• Strong understanding of music theory, harmony, and orchestration
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
