About the Role

Our client is seeking a junior-level illustrator for a project involving the creation of bright, cartoon-style illustrations for a children's book. The project requires the illustrator to produce illustrations for 15 double-page spreads. This is a single, remote job that is expected to take approximately a week to complete. The illustrator will not be required to work from a specific location, and the final deliverable is a fully illustrated children's book.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client to understand the vision, themes, and overall style preferences for the children's book illustrations
• Conceptualize and create bright, vibrant, and engaging cartoon-style illustrations for 15 double-page spreads
• Ensure consistency in the overall aesthetic and visual narrative throughout the book
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from the client during the illustration process

Requirements

• Junior-level experience in children's book illustration or a related field
• Strong skills in digital illustration software
• Ability to create vibrant and engaging cartoon-style illustrations suitable for children
• Understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling techniques
• Creativity and attention to detail in capturing the desired aesthetic
