About the Role

Our client, a mathematics education company is seeking a freelance videographer and video editor to support their project. The project involves travelling to one or two undetermined school locations in the United Kingdom to record one-hour maths circle sessions. The recorded footage will then need to be edited into smaller clips for teacher training purposes. The final deliverables are expected before June 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to the designated school locations to record one-hour maths circle sessions.
• Set up and operate professional video equipment to capture high-quality footage of the maths circle sessions.
• Ensure proper framing, lighting, and sound quality during the recordings.
• Collaborate with the company's team to understand the specific requirements and objectives for the video content.
• Edit and post-produce the raw footage, creating smaller clips suitable for teacher training purposes.
• Implement appropriate editing techniques, such as trimming, colour grading, and adding graphics or annotations as required.
• Ensure the final video clips are visually engaging and effectively convey the intended educational content.

Requirements

• Mid to expert-level experience as a freelance videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in educational or instructional content.
• Proficiency in using professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting setups, and audio gear.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of videography techniques, including shot composition, lighting, and sound recording.
• Willingness to travel to undetermined school locations within the United Kingdom for recording sessions.
• Availability to complete the project and deliver the final video clips before June 2024.
