About the Role

Our client is seeking skilled songwriter proficient in creating lyrics in both Greek and English for melodic dancehall, hip-hop, and reggae music. The songwriter will be engaged on a full-time, long-term contract basis to contribute to the development of a diverse music portfolio. The project needs to commence as soon as possible. While a style resonating with that of DJ Silence is appreciated, the producer is open to unique takes and creative approaches from potential candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Write compelling and captivating lyrics in both Greek and English for melodic dancehall, hip-hop, and reggae tracks.
• Collaborate with the producer to understand the creative vision and direction for each song or project.
• Craft lyrics that seamlessly blend with the provided music, complementing the melodies and rhythms.
• Develop a diverse range of lyrical themes, styles, and narratives to contribute to a versatile music portfolio.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional songwriter, with a strong portfolio showcasing lyrical prowess in Greek and English.
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, with a deep understanding of their nuances and idiomatic expressions.
• Familiarity with dancehall, hip-hop, and reggae music genres, including their rhythms, styles, and cultural influences.
• Strong creative writing skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging lyrical content.
