Our core mission is to empower creators, whether they're businesses or individual freelancers, to thrive in their creative endeavours.

About the Role

Our client, a non-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing children's creativity and curiosity is seeking a talented mid-level animator to create five short animated videos for their ongoing project. These videos will reflect the style carried in their published book, 'Adventures of Curious Creators Club'. The project is expected to be completed within the next three months, and the animator can work remotely on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Study and understand the visual style and character designs from the organisation's published book, 'Adventures of Curious Creators Club'.
  • Create five short animated videos (approximately 2-3 minutes each) that capture the essence of the book's style and themes.
  • Collaborate with the organisation's team to ensure the animations align with their vision and educational goals.
  • Animate character movements, facial expressions, and background elements to bring the stories to life.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in 2D animation, preferably with a strong background in character animation.
  • Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in character designs and animations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the organization's team.
