Supply Operations Engineer 3

Twilio is seeking a Supply Operations Engineer (3rd Level) to lead strategic carrier operations and enhance their SMS traffic service quality. The role involves optimizing carrier connectivity, managing complex routing/quality issues, and providing Level 2 support to teams. It requires a customer-focused individual with global expertise in the APAC messaging ecosystem, adept at problem-solving and process improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in production/systems engineering, operations, analytical or routing role for SMS and/or MMS.
• Advanced experience in an SMS Operations / Routing role at a Tier 1 carrier or aggregator.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in performing analysis and evaluation using key operational metrics.
• Technical ability to understand software and recognize product integration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with aggregators / MNOs.
• Advanced understanding of SMS messaging from a carrier and aggregator.
• Advanced experience in SMS troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
