Requirements
- Maintenance of general ledger and associated accounting of Turnitin's EMEA Entities.
- Preparation of monthly journal entries as part of the month end process, primarily covering payroll and accruals.
- Support and review of journal entries relating to other expense postings, including fixed assets, prepayments, cash, intercompany, and accounts payable.
- Preparation of detailed Variance Analysis reports for management review.
- Support and review of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and investigation of reconciling items.
- Working with outsourced accounting providers for preparation of Statutory Accounts for Turnitin's EMEA Entities.
- Assisting in Year End Audits for Turnitin's EMEA Entities.
- Participation in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with support to internal customers including ad-hoc financial analysis, and special projects.
- Working with Turnitin's Tax Team to ensure deliverables of VAT and Corporate Tax Reporting.
- Assist newly acquired entities with adoption of group internal controls and processes.
- Assisting in Cash Management, including cash flow forecasting, and the setup of intercompany cash transfers.
