TSPi is actively seeking a Tester to join our team and support our government client. Our Tester position is great for an individual who is self-motivated, has a love of learning, and is collaborative. In this position you will help test a new framework for our business partners, collaborate with team members on large application testing using existing and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on an Agile team with other software professionals to develop test plans, scenarios, and test cases for functional, regression, and system level test activities
- Build technical and application expertise, using existing and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with the Product team in creation of Acceptance Criteria for stories following Agile and Design Thinking practices
- Create and execute manual test scripts
- Assist in the creation, design, development, and execution of test automation scripts
- Catalog and maintain test scenario library, keep the Team apprised of test results through automated and dashboard-style reporting using Selenium, Ready API, Jira, and Confluence
- Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge and improve overall product/solution
- Help to manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
- Interface with geographically dispersed teams across the United States
Required Skills:
- 3+ years hands on software testing experience
- Selenium, Ready API or similar test automation experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using different bug reporting tools, a plus
- Experience with testing for accessibility, 508 ICT, a plus
- Experience working on an Agile team, a plus
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience required
