Senior SDET Engineer - Fintech

We are a leading provider of nearshore staff augmentation services headquartered in New York, and we are looking for a Senior SDET Engineer to join our team. As a Senior SDET, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll help build automation frameworks and tools while working closely with engineering teams to foster a strong culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5–8 years in software quality engineering
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript; Ruby is a plus
• Solid understanding of testing concepts and software development lifecycle
• Proficient in writing and maintaining functional UI/API automation
• Experience or interest in using AI/ML tools to optimize testing processes (e.g., intelligent test generation, prioritization, or analysis)
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with developer tools (git, build tools, scripting, and IDEs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset
• Located in Latin America
• Fluent English level
