TripleTen is a remote first organization mirroring our students who complete our bootcamps in a remote environment.

Our Tutor Reviewers play a critical role in supporting students throughout their learning journey. They are responsible for assessing student projects, providing detailed feedback, guiding them in improving their work to industry standards, and offering direct assistance in understanding complex concepts. This role ensures that students receive comprehensive, actionable feedback on their projects and timely guidance on challenges they encounter.

What you will do

• Review and assess student projects based on our program's standards and best practices.
• Provide detailed, written feedback on projects, pointing out errors, highlighting areas for improvement, and guiding students on how to meet professional standards.
• Communicate with students on Discord in text — they deal with different questions from students including a deeper explanation of theory, helping with code debugging, helping understanding the task, pointing out difference between concepts, supporting and navigating students in their projects, and clarify any review-feedback questions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in: Data Science (advanced Python, advanced SQL knowledge, statistics, mathematics, basics of Machine Learning, basic understanding of Computer Vision and Sentiment Analysis)
• Communication Skills: Strong written English skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and provide constructive, supportive feedback.
• Passion for Tutoring: A patient and approachable attitude, able to break down challenging concepts for students, guiding them to grow in their skills and understanding.
• Proficiency in Discord: Comfortable engaging with students on Discord, both in group settings and one-on-one.
• Adaptability: Readiness to dedicate time to both detailed project reviews and active tutoring, with a balance of structured and flexible hours.
• Ability to work 5 days a week (shift-based), between 9am and 2am EST (8 hours per day, the exact schedule will be discussed and decided during the interview)
• You possess a good level of written English — our students are Americans, many of our team members are natives, so it’s necessary to have a good level of English
• You are careful with communication, can structure your thoughts, and love helping people

• pay rate of $2400 gross per month
• free in-house training on how to be a great tutor and role model for students, choose the appropriate tone of voice when communicating with students, improve soft skills
