In The Role
The JT Career Coach (IC) - USA helps ensure that our graduates are job ready by their graduation date.
They support the success of the Career Services team by coaching 60 students / graduates in group settings (< 10 participants per group), and hosting office hours, and facilitating 1:1 Mock HR sessions.
This role is hands-on coaching, ensuring high-quality service delivery, streamlined processes, and effective problem-solving.
What you will do
- Manage a roster of 60+ students which will include: group coaching sessions which covers steps in the job search process such as Networking, job search strategy, etc.,
- Hold office hours where students come with questions regarding their job search, and
- Facilitate 1:1 Mock HR Sessions
Responsibilities
- Career artifacts review - review student resumes, LinkedIn profiles, career-related projects, and cover letters—providing feedback within 48 hours.
- Interview prep - conduct HR/cultural interviews and assess student performance according to guidelines.
- Tracking - update our internal system for student progress and alert teammates when a student needs additional support.
- Community engagement - facilitate our Discord and Prentus student channels, find and share content about the job market, and provide useful tips
- Host and facilitate group coaching sessions and 15 min Ask Me Anything sessions as needed.
- Collaboration - collaborate with the TripleTen team to enhance our career products and improve user experience
- Punctuality - giving timely advice/ response to questions within 24 hours
Requirements
- Empathic Team Collaborator: Offers insight and solution-based feedback in a kind and professional manner. Egos must be left at the door.
- Highly Organized and Attentive: Ability to keep clear and organized administrative notes. Responds to any pressing situation within 24 hours. Attends all team meetings.
- Data Tracking: Monitor and analyze coach and student data to inform decisions and improve program effectiveness.
- Workshop Development and Facilitation: Ability to collaborate on the development of workshops and facilitate other workshop initiatives as needed
- Cross-Discipline Skills: Ability to coach across a variety of disciplines such as: Software Engineer, QA, Data/BIA, Cyber and UX/UI
- This role reports to the Lead Coaches and collaborates with the Senior Coaches as needed
- Ability to work evenings and / or weekends a plus

What we can offer you
- $55 / hr for each group coaching milestone session
- $40 / hr for all other tasks
- 15-25 hours per week; Part-time remote collaboration;
