Job Description

This is a remote position that can be based in either Queensland or Northern NSW. We are flexible on the working location however you will need to be close to a domestic airport.

At TOMRA Food we are committed to our brand and as we continue to grow globally, we are seeking a talented and experienced technical sales professional to connect with our customers and deliver best in class service. Your work will be purposeful, and you will play an important role in helping the business achieve some exciting goals.

In this role you will be responsible for managing direct sales to customers across the assigned territory, and/or where applicable, manage representative agencies. You will uncover potential projects and provide our customers with the best possible market solutions.

Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing:

  • Maintain and foster close relationships with customers and major key accounts, and act as TOMRA ambassador
  • Follow up on all customer questions regarding their products and support issues
  • Be technically proficient with all products sold (combined portfolio)
  • Maintain a robust sale-pipeline
  • Drive growth in profitability, revenue, and market share
  • Visit customer sites to observe equipment performance and discuss technologies
  • Represent and assist planning and preparing for trade shows and company-events
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of salesforce records

Qualifications

About you:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience in selling (large) capital equipment
  • Experience in selling long project sales cycles
  • Experience with capital goods and food industry are a big plus
  • Result oriented and eager to learn by listening to market needs
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication both with internal and external customers, and confident and effective when presenting
  • Ensures quality of work is always structured and adheres to company standards; demonstrates high levels of accuracy and thoroughness
  • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles well
  • Asks questions to discover our client business needs and subsequently presents solutions to meet our customer objectives; Result oriented and eager to learn by listening to market needs
  • Be a Team-player, ensure cross-divisional collaboration; apply RACI,
    escalate timely, follow-on agreed ownership

Additional Information

There will be a travel requirement up to 70% of the time with the Ability to drive (car) w/ restrictions.
