Freelance Senior Product Manager

Recently, we secured strategic investment led by Bezos Expeditions with participation from Mikhail Parakhin, CTO of Shopify and board advisor to leading GenAI companies, who now serves as our Chairman of the Board. Our remote-first team is globally distributed around the world: USA, UK, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Serbia, and more. We are headquartered in Amsterdam.

What Tendem is

Tendem AI — the first hybrid AI+human agent, an Uber for knowledge work. We take in a client’s request and use an AI workflow supervised and refined by human experts to produce high-quality deliverables. It is positioned as an alternative to both pure AI assistants and freelance platforms, aiming to give the speed of AI with the reliability and accountability of experienced professionals.​

At the heart of Tendem is a hybrid LLM+human execution agent. It breaks down tasks, plans, executes, knows its own limits, selects an expert from the Toloka marketplace, and brings them into the loop. The agent and the expert work in a tight feedback cycle — passing drafts back and forth, checking each other’s work. Tendem understands what’s happening inside the task, manages it end-to-end, and is accountable for the final outcome. This is no longer traditional client–freelancer matching only.

Where We Are Now — Key Challenges

Early Soft Launch. The product is live, early users are coming in, and we are in the process of validating whether the initial value proposition truly resonates. We see signs of traction, but the core value needs to be demonstrated with clear use cases and metrics before we commit to scale.

What will you do:

• Identify significant near and long-term opportunities and define product strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and optimization.
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success/failure. Monitor and analyze product performance, leveraging data analytics and user feedback to optimise current value proposition and drive continual improvement and innovation.
• Drive product development with cross-functional team of engineering, design, analytics, and marketing teams to deliver measurable business impact.
• Design and own the end-to-end funnel: from marketing to onboarding, activation, first and recurring payments.

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years of Product management experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, marketing, operations.
• Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre- and post-launch execution.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing acquisition–activation–monetization funnels, ideally in early-stage products.
• Strong data literacy: ability to define metrics, read dashboards, and make decisions based on both quantitative and qualitative input.
• Proven record of leading a cross-functional group (Marketing, Tech, Operations) around the user and revenue goals, not around functions.
• Excellent communication in English; ability to clearly articulate hypotheses, decisions, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
• Hands-on, “roll up sleeves” mindset: comfortable manually refining processes after soft launch and iterating quickly.
