Blockchain Architect - Web3 User Data Platform

Blockchain Architect Role

Our client is a trusted user data platform for Web3. They are looking for a Blockchain Architect to design our blockchain-based data platform that aggregates and standardizes, encrypts, and decentrally stores user data.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect a data platform that aggregates user-centric data from various sources, such as decentralized identity or wallet app
• Design and architect processes for encryption and secure storage of user data
• Write, deploy, and maintain smart contracts
• Research various blockchain infrastructure and tools to best build on top of as necessary

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and proven track record in an Engineering role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed systems
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals and smart contracts
• Solid understanding of decentralized storage solutions, such as IPFS, Arweave, and Ceramic
• Experience with blockchain related development tools, such as Web3.js, ethers.js, etc.
• Nice to have: understanding of identity-related technical concepts (OAuth, OpenID, Decentralized Identity / DID, VCs)
• Nice to have: understanding of zero-knowledge protocols
• Nice to have: experience writing and deploying EVM smart contracts (e.g. Solidity)
