Senior Martech Consultant

As a valued member of our Martech and digital transformation consultancy team, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with our clients and provide expert guidance in selecting and utilising the most suitable marketing and advertising tools to effectively meet their commercial and customer experience goals.

You’ll be working primarily with one of our longstanding automotive clients, who are undertaking a range of digital transformation projects across marketing and customer experience. You will also work on other consultancy engagements across a broad range of industry sectors. These projects vary in scope but generally involve project management, supporting vendor selections, solution design, change management, requirements gathering, gap analysis and more.

You will be a skilled problem solver and a collaborative partner with extensive experience in providing solutions consultation.

Having excellent project management skills and a deep understanding of how platforms integrate into the client's technical architecture is essential.

You will be equally comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team or as a sole consultant embedded within a client’s business for the duration of an engagement.

The Day to Day

• Ensure that projects stay on track by liaising with stakeholders and producing materials to support and direct operations.
• Day-to-day liaison with internal departments, clients, and their 3rd party suppliers.
• Requirements gathering and user story development.
• Define and communicate Martech strategy and roadmap to senior stakeholders.
• Programme management to ensure on-time, on-budget development delivery.
• Run workshops and masterclasses.
• Evaluate and validate new Martech initiatives.
• On occasion, act as implanted Product Owner for specific Martech platforms.

Requirements

Who will you be?

• An experienced Martech consultant, with prior experience in an agency or consultancy setting, and a strong foundation in data and marketing technology.
• You’ll have a broad knowledge of systems along the entire marketing technology chain, such as CDP, MAP, Journey Orchestration, DMP and adjacent technologies such as CRM, MDM, Consent Management Platforms, analytics tools.
• A deep understanding of at least one Marketing Automation tool, prior Salesforce experience is desirable.
• Competent to advanced ability in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with project managing end-to-end Martech development projects with proven task and project management skills.
• Business analysis skills – experience of identifying, documenting, and prioritising client needs.
• The ability to elicit business requirements and translate these into technical solutions.
• Analytically and logically minded, with a balanced mix of commercial and technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Accurate – good attention to detail at all times.
• Effective - a well-organised person with excellent time management, capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Prior Automotive experience is desirable.
