Job responsibilities

• Develop and implement data science and machine learning solutions that drive business impact.
• Conduct experiments, test hypotheses, and apply advanced analytics to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into applications and tools.
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engineer features by creatively combining internal and external data sources.
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making and responsible AI practices.
• Ensure ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute to the data science community.
• Mentor and share knowledge while developing scalable frameworks and best practices.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Proven experience in Data viz (Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly) and Data preparation (cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering)
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn)
• Expertise in SQL for complex queries and Statistical analysis.
• Proven GCP experience
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning) and techniques (splitting, hyperparameter tuning, regulatization)
• Proven experience in experimentation methodologies

Languages

• Spanish proficiency is required - If you are not fluent in Spanish, strong English skills are required.

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Data Mesh.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, R Shiny, Plotly).
• Knowledge of other cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is beneficial but not required.
