Dr. Lee is recruiting a Research Associate who will be working on R01 funded projects on reducing cue-induced relapse in a rat model of alcohol dependence. This position is a one-year position to start with the chance to renew annually based on performance and/or continuation of grant funding.

We are currently focused on understanding individual differences in learned behavior and its implications for attenuating reward and drug related memories. Purpose

Dr. Lee is recruiting a Research Associate who will be working on R01 funded projects on reducing cue-induced relapse in a rat model of alcohol dependence

Responsibilities

  • Running behavioral experiments
  • Data collection, management, and analysis
  • Write up of protocols and research report such as manuscripts
  • Lab equipment and supply management

Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS in related fields such as neuroscience or psychology
  • Prior experience working with laboratory rats
  • Able to work during non-typical working hours (outside of 9-5 M-F) periodically

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range

$32,000 - $35,000
