The ICCT seeks a highly committed and self-motivated Associate Researcher or Researcher to support transport decarbonization policies for light-duty vehicles in Mexico. The position will also engage in other projects throughout Latin America as needed.
Requirements
- Intellectually curious, self-directed, and able to work with people from across the globe
- Inventiveness, creativity, resourcefulness, and strong time management skills
- Excellent writing skills, strong modeling and/or analytical skills, some international education, travel or work experience
- M.S., or Ph.D., in engineering, environmental sciences, or related disciplines field and at least 2-4 years of work or research experience
- Strong technical understanding of air quality, climate change, and transportation emissions, including vehicle and fuel regulations, market-based initiatives, and fiscal instruments in Mexico
