Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a member of the TELUS Health Chief Security Office (CSO) team, you will report to the Manager, Cybersecurity Risks and be responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of information security risk management activities to ensure stakeholders (up to Executive level) have an accurate and consistent view of information and cyber security risks.

What you will do

Manage the risk register and guide CSO and wider teams in documenting, classifying and evaluating potential risks, and corresponding actions within TELUS Health information systems.
Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure relevant processes and tooling is fit for purpose for TELUS Health cyber risk requirements.
Utilize your strong communication skills to speak with various stakeholders, ask the right questions and help progress cyber risks in the register
Critically analyze and understand established and newly emerging risks and ensure quality assurance on all risk assessments. Develop recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
Manage and track exemption processes as mandated by Business.
Align risk processes and controls to the relevant frameworks and internal systems.
Support risk owners and teams with the resolution and mitigation of cybersecurity risks and follow-up on required actions.
Complete risk assessments and risk balance cases as required and prepare timely CSO risk reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

What you bring

5 or more years of experience in one or more cyber security domains (e.g., network security, vulnerability management, secure software development, cloud security, third party risk management, governance, endpoint security, etc)
Experience with risk management processes and relevant frameworks such as CIS, NIST CSF and 800 series, and ISO 27001/2.
Working knowledge of risk management tools like OneTrust, AuditBoard
PCI DSS experience is considered an asset
