Summary of Position

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Data & Analytics Products to lead a critical area of our analytics product portfolio and enterprise analytics practice. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of a next-generation Healthcare Customer Data Platform (CDP) that powers personalized patient and member experiences. You will champion the use of data, advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate marketing automation, inform product strategy, and drive deeper engagement, improved clinical outcomes, and measurable business impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and operationalization of a Healthcare Customer Data Platform (CDP) that unifies patient and member data, enables advanced segmentation, and powers personalized engagement across digital and clinical touchpoints.

  • Oversee the development and deployment of advanced analytics, machine learning models, and AI-driven solutions that enhance patient/member engagement, improve health outcomes, and drive operational efficiency across Teladoc’s suite of services.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven strategies that fuel product innovation, elevate marketing effectiveness, and optimize member experiences.

  • Lead initiatives in marketing automation, applying advanced analytics and AI/ML to optimize campaign performance, personalize customer journeys, and enhance lifecycle management—delivering measurable gains in engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Define and execute the analytics product roadmap, aligning with strategic priorities and ensuring seamless integration with Teladoc’s broader data and technology ecosystems.

  • Foster a data-driven culture, working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to embed analytics and AI/ML insights into enterprise-wide decision-making.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, data scientists, analytics professionals, and ML/AI engineers—driving a culture of innovation, professional growth, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and uphold best practices in data and AI governance, data quality, privacy, and compliance in collaboration with Data Engineering, Legal, IT, and Compliance teams—ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.

  • Measure, optimize, and communicate the impact of analytics initiatives, CDP performance, and AI-driven applications—continually refining strategy to maximize business value and outcomes.

  • Serve as an analytics evangelist, championing the adoption of data-driven practices, AI/ML solutions, and CDP capabilities across the organization to accelerate innovation and transformation.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, AI/ML, or related fields, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing analytics delivery and data-driven product development.

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a Customer Data Platform (CDP) or similar data-driven platform in healthcare or a related industry, focusing on customer/patient engagement and experience optimization.

  • Expertise in designing, developing, and managing scalable data solutions using Snowflake and modern data lake architectures, including MPP data warehouse platforms, to enable efficient analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

  • Proven track record implementing and leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to deliver tangible business results, specifically around customer/member engagement, marketing automation, and product innovation.

  • Expertise in data analytics, predictive modeling, data visualization, and analytics platforms/tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).

  • Strong technical acumen, including familiarity with data architecture, data engineering concepts, and the implementation of AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated success mentoring and growing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, including the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights for diverse business and executive audiences.

  • Deep understanding of data privacy regulations and standards relevant to healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and demonstrated experience managing analytics projects within compliant environments.

  • Prior experience in healthcare, telemedicine, digital health, or SaaS industries is strongly preferred.

  • Passion for using analytics, data-driven insights, and AI/ML to enhance patient/member health outcomes and improve healthcare delivery.

The base salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
