The Climate Dividends Initiative

Climate Dividends is a non-profit association co-founded by Ademe, Mirova, Team for the Planet, Sweep, 2050 and Fondation Kanopée Partage and chaired by Brune Poirson.

We carry a mission that is both technical and systemic: accelerating the financing of the transition by creating the standard for positive climate contribution.

Our mechanism

We have designed the Climate Dividends, a methodological framework and a certification mechanism that allows for the quantification of a company's positive climate impact (in tonnes of CO2e avoided or removed) and its integration into company valuation.

👉 1 tonne of CO2e avoided / removed = 1 Climate Dividend, issued and "distributed" to shareholders.

The objective: To make this indicator the compass for international institutions to direct massive capital towards solutions that truly save the climate.
1 tonne of CO₂e avoided or removed by the company’s activity > 1 Climate Dividend distributed to the shareholder.

The team

We are a focused, expert operational team:

supported by a high-level Board of Directors, an independant scientific committee and volunteers.

Our ambition for 2026

To move from a proof of concept and a robust methodological foundation to the global reference indicator for banks, investors, and companies.

What we are looking for

The Mission

Climate Dividends has incredibly rich content, but our current site is a diamond in the rough that needs to be cut.

Your mission? To transform an expert platform into an intuitive conversion machine where every visitor understands, in less than 10 seconds, the Climate Dividends value proposition and how they can get started / engage.

Your Challenges:

  • "Fresh Brain" Audit: Analyze the current journey and identify friction points (relying on our user feedback and the help of our volunteers).

  • Storytelling & Clarity: Reorganize the information architecture to make the climate dividends concept crystal clear. Less jargon, more impact.

  • Conversion Optimization: Rethink "Call to Action" (CTA) to guide companies and investors towards engagement.

  • Data-Driven: Verify and monitor analytics tracking so that every decision is based on facts.

  • International: Help us decide on the localization strategy (French? Japanese?).

Requirements

The subject is complex, the stakes are colossal, and the market is in full swing.

We are not looking for executors, but for growth partners capable of grasping this complexity to transform it into concrete impact.

Prerequisites

  • You are a UX/UI expert with a strong business sensitivity (Conversion).

  • You know or even master Webflow (our stack, managed by a dedicated dev) and ideally Claude Code to automate or optimize certain aspects.

  • At a minimum, you have general ESG / impact / sustainable finance knowledge and a real bonus if you have specific knowledge of avoided emissions / carbon accounting.

  • You are capable of proposing "High Impact / Low Dev" improvements.

Conditions

  • Timing: An intensive sprint over the month of May (fixed fee to be defined together).

  • Remote (if you are in Marseille or Lyon, easy to work with one of the team member)

  • Ways of work: in direct link with the rest of the Climate Dividends team and support from a Webflow dev who works one day per month for the association.
