Now part of the Hotmart Company portfolio, Teachable is seeking a Software Engineer II - Back-end to join their Student Engagement pod and foster deeper engagement between students and creators. This remote position, based in Brazil, requires experience building production web applications and contributing to a dynamic, cross-cultural team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on full-stack experience building production web applications in an agile, startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go, or any backend languages
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and CSS. Bonus points for TypeScript and NextJS.
  • Familiarity or willingness to work in a full stack capacity.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple team members with varying experience levels to design and implement technical projects.
  • Ability to work and problem-solve independently.
