WordPress Developer

LegalTemplates are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with Vue.js experience to join our dynamic, remote-first team. In this full time role, you'll collaborate closely with a globally distributed marketing and development team to enhance and maintain our WordPress-based portal. You'll be working in a fast paced, product-focused environment where your ideas and code will make a real impact.

We're a remote-friendly company with team members across APAC, the EU and the US, and we're looking for someone who can consistently overlap 3-4 hours with those time zones to ensure strong collaboration and communication.

Please note: This position is fully remote and full-time, but we're unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Following best practices in place, you will be working collaboratively with your teammates and colleagues. You will be part of an international team and contribute to the following tasks:

• Add new features to the WordPress portal (plugins, admin, new pages etc.)
• Maintain existing portal
• Maintain Github repository
• Documentation

Requirements:

• Rich experience in WordPress and React/Vue.js.
• Ability to work with Marketing/Design to translate designs into pixel-perfect web code.
• Experience building WordPress themes, widgets, plugins, custom post types, and page templates.
• Experience building very customizable WordPress for Marketing & Product
• Performing WordPress environment tasks such as new installations, backups, base configurations, and upgrades
• Ability to write clean code and follow coding standards
• Experience with WordPress Engine
• Experience working with Cloudflare
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Excellent communication skills
