The post-producer effectively allocates resources to enhance post-production efficiency, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in art or film studies. A combination of work experience and education can be substituted.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in the advertising or film industry. A combination of education and work experience can be substituted.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Media Encoder, and video compression techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Very good attention to detail and Quality Control
- Confident, with great communication skills (written and verbal) at all operational and organizational levels.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet delivery deadlines.

JOB DUTIES
POST-PRODUCTION
- Coordinate with various teams involved in post-production, including editors, animators, sound designers, retouches and other specialists, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work with the post-production team to update and manage the overall production schedule, ensuring that the requirements of the whole production team are considered.
- Manage post-production resources and team capacity.
- Develop and manage budgets for post-production projects, allocating resources appropriately. Create production schedules and timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Streamline post-production processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Identify opportunities for automation or workflow enhancements to expedite project delivery.
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
- Provide guidance and direction to the post-production team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members have the resources they need to succeed.
- Anticipate and address any challenges or obstacles that arise during the post-production process. Develop solutions to technical issues, logistical concerns, or creative roadblocks to keep projects on track.
- Generate reports on project status, expenses, and performance metrics as needed.
- Work closely with other departments within the agency, such as creative, account management, and production, to ensure seamless integration of post-production services into overall project workflows.
