Symmetrio is recruiting a Sales Manager for their client, a leader in the oncology software space. This role will play a key role in transforming how cancer care is delivered. The ideal candidate will partner with hospitals, cancer centers, and clinical teams to bring cutting-edge treatment planning and oncology information system solutions to life. This is an excellent career opportunity in Software Sales. Oncology background and knowledge of various oncology OIS/TPS is preferred. This is an individual contributor role. Travel required is approximately 30% (client visits and trade shows). OTE $240K.
Job Duties:
- Drive adoption of advanced oncology software solutions within an assigned territory.
- Consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Build and strengthen relationships with oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, IT leaders, and hospital executives.
- Understand clinical workflows, challenges, and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, clearly explaining complex software capabilities, workflow efficiencies, and clinical benefits.
- Conduct demos, presentations, and value-based solution discussions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor technologies, and evolving clinical practices in radiation oncology.
- Work closely with professional services, implementation teams, R&D, and customer support to ensure strong adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical device, laboratory equipment, or healthcare software sales; Oncology background strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of radiation therapy workflows, medical imaging, and healthcare IT systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting.
