Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager – Billing Operations (US Healthcare)

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)

Work Hours: US Time Zone (Night Shift PH)
Compensation: USD 1,900 – 2,200 / month (NET)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Billing-Focused RCM Manager to lead and optimize our revenue cycle billing operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in medical billing, accounts receivable (AR) management, claims lifecycle oversight, and revenue performance improvement.

This is not a task-based billing position. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who can manage billing workflows end-to-end, proactively resolve revenue bottlenecks, improve cash flow, and ensure clean claims submission with minimal leakage.

The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, metrics-driven, and confident in owning billing performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Claims Oversight

  • Oversee accurate and timely claim submission across payers

  • Ensure clean claim rate optimization prior to submission

  • Monitor billing workflows to prevent revenue delays

  • Implement structured billing checkpoints and QA processes

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

  • Manage AR aging and prioritize high-impact follow-ups

  • Reduce outstanding balances through structured collection strategies

  • Identify revenue leakage and drive recovery initiatives

  • Track key AR metrics (aging buckets, DSO, collection rate, etc.)

Denial Management & Revenue Protection

  • Analyze denial trends and implement corrective action plans

  • Lead resubmission and appeal strategies where appropriate

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce repeat denials

  • Establish prevention-based processes instead of reactive fixes

Process Optimization & Revenue Strategy

  • Identify inefficiencies in billing workflows and implement improvements

  • Develop SOPs and structured billing systems

  • Partner with leadership to forecast revenue performance

  • Provide billing performance insights and actionable reporting

Leadership & Accountability

  • Serve as the billing point-of-contact for operational questions

  • Take ownership of revenue targets and billing KPIs

  • Ensure billing accuracy, compliance, and accountability across workflows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM, with strong focus on billing and AR

  • Proven track record managing AR aging and improving collections

  • Strong understanding of CPT/ICD coding impact on billing accuracy

  • Experience managing denial trends and revenue recovery strategies

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

  • Highly analytical and data-driven

  • Strong communication and reporting skills

  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems and payer portals

Bonus: Experience leading billing teams or handling multi-specialty practices
