This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the center of ANet’s growth strategy. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Implementation to ensure district leaders clearly understand the value of Compass Math—and that Sales has the narratives, evidence, and materials needed to convert interest into pilots.

This role is ideal for a product marketer who wants to own real go-to-market impact, translating insight into action and directly influencing revenue and adoption.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening ANet’s go-to-market engine through clear positioning, persuasive proof, and disciplined messaging. Product Positioning & Messaging Strategy

  • Define and refine Compass positioning and value proposition for priority segments
  • Own the core messaging Sales uses to engage districts and move opportunities toward pilots
  • Develop messaging that addresses buyer needs, objections, and decision criteria
  • Ensure consistent use of messaging across sales materials, campaigns, and communications
  • Partner with Product to incorporate market feedback and inform roadmap priorities

Case Studies and Sales Enablement

  • Build and maintain a system of case studies, proof points, and sales materials that are actively used in outreach, meetings, and follow-up
  • Equip Sales with clear narratives, talk tracks, and assets that improve SQL → pilot conversion
  • Ensure materials are adopted and used by Sales—not just created
  • Ensure all external claims are credible, defensible, and aligned with product reality

External Product Communications

  • Develop clear, compelling messaging for product releases, pilot offerings, and service packages that Sales can use to drive engagement and adoption
  • Ensure consistent, engaging communication that builds understanding and excitement about Compass Math

GTM Learning & Feedback Loops

  • Collect structured buyer and product feedback from Sales and Implementation teams
  • Identify recurring buyer objections, lost deals, and messaging gaps
  • Provide regular synthesis to GTM and Product leaders to refine positioning and campaign strategy
  • Translate insights into improved messaging, new proof points, refined GTM strategies

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor positioning and emerging trends in assessment and instructional coherence
  • Inform marketing and product messaging with structured external insights

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

Required

  • 6–10+ years of experience in product marketing, market strategy, consulting, or insights roles within education or edtech
  • Experience defining positioning and translating evidence into persuasive sales and marketing assets
  • Bias toward action - comfortable producing and iterating quickly
  • Background partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, and executive leaders

Expertise in Area of Focus: Demonstrated ability to turn data and partner experience into compelling positioning and enablement materials. Sound judgment about framing and its impact on stakeholder perception

Planning & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize based on revenue impact and strategic importance. Strong project management skills with attention to cross-functional coordination. Solution-oriented approach to ambiguity and evolving priorities
Commitment to ANet’s Mission: Deep commitment to educational equity and improving outcomes for historically underserved students. Belief in the power of coherent systems and evidence-informed practice to drive instructional impact
