Position Overview:
- Role: Physician at SteadyMD
- Location: Fully Remote
- Schedule: Must be able to provide a minimum 10 hours/week of availability within the operating hours of 7am-7pm CST, Monday through Friday
- Compensation: Hourly rates of $112/hour - $120/hour
Requirements
- Board certified and in possession of a valid DEA certification
- At least 2 years post-graduate independent practice
- Comfort with technology, professionalism, and strong communication skills
- Telemedicine or virtual care experience strongly preferred
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Interpret lab values and conduct scheduled remote consultation visits with patients
- Request further diagnostic tests as necessary based on patient outcomes or requirements
- Evaluation of patient’s medical history, physical findings and diagnostic/laboratory data
- Initiate and prescribe drug therapies, diet/exercise therapies, topical and systemic therapies. Must be comfortable and licensed to prescribe hormone replacement therapies, when clinically appropriate
- Provide culturally reflective services that are individualized to client needs and reflect the integration of race, ethnicity, culture, primary language, immigration status, sexuality, age, and gender
- Cultivate an environment of trust and compassion between patients and providers
- Collaborate with other SteadyMD clinicians
