Senior Backend Java/Kafka Developer

We are looking for a senior backend consultant to develop and maintain backend services in a Digital Factory. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka technologies.

Requirements

• 5-year engineering school or equivalent university degree with a specialization in computer science, or equivalent significant experience
• 7+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot and Kafka
• Mastery of JAVA, KAFKA, and the Spring ecosystem
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL)
• Versioning tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, particularly via GitLab CI/CD
• Cloud, particularly GCP (BigQuery, BigTable) and Azure
• Use of Docker for packaging and deploying applications in a DevOps context
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture and craftsmanship principles (SOLID, YAGNI, etc.)
• Unit tests and integration tests, particularly with JUnit, Mockito, Karate, Gatling (performance tests)
• Agile methods, particularly SCRUM
