A Day in the Life:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using Matillion to support enterprise data integration initiatives
• Lead architecture discussions and provide strategic direction on data transformation best practices within the Matillion platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements for data ingestion and transformation projects
• Oversee end-to-end data flow from source systems to target data warehouses, ensuring data accuracy and pipeline efficiency
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior data engineers to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive automation initiatives to enhance ETL performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex ETL failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues
• Manage deployment and version control of Matillion jobs across development, QA, and production environments
• Stay current on new features in Matillion and related technologies to recommend improvements and innovations
• Lead documentation efforts, ensuring pipeline processes, standards, and workflows are clearly recorded and accessible to the team
