The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Unbilled Document Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Analyze and prioritize work. Understand and Interpret third party payer benefits and eligibility (online or telephonically).
- Conduct in depth review of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history and physicals) based on billing criteria.
- Communicate internally and externally to obtain missing documentation required for placement and/or billing. Could include home health agencies, patients, hospital/facilities, physicians. Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
- Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly production expectations based on department priorities. Requires repetitive keyboarding over 95% of the time and phone usage 60% of the time.
- Develop and manage customer relationships creating loyalty with Clinical Providers. Highly disciplined, self-motivated work ethic to work in a hybrid remote work environment.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of clinical healthcare experience.
- Call Center experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with customer service and document collection and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and email
- Demonstrated ability to deal with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as, independently.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced and changing environment and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
