We are SOFTGAMES, a leading developer of popular Instant Games. Our mission is to enable everyone to instantly play great casual games with their friends across any device. Our flagship titles like 'Cookie Crush', 'Solitaire Story', and 'Candy Match' are enjoyed by tens of millions of users every month. Since our founding in October 2006 by brothers Andre and Alexander Krug, we've grown from a small operation in a parent's garage, initially building J2ME Games for large German TV stations, to a global presence with offices in Berlin, Germany, and Toronto, Canada.

Our journey has been one of continuous evolution and adaptation. We hired our first interns and moved into our first office in 2007. By 2010, we pivoted to developing freemium web browser games in XHTML, anticipating the rise of the smartphone era. A significant milestone came in 2012 when we began to focus exclusively on HTML5 games. This strategic shift positioned us as a pioneer in HTML5 gaming, leading to our selection as one of only 15 exclusive launch partners for Facebook's Instant Games in 2016. This partnership was a pivotal moment, allowing us to reach a massive global audience. Our game 'Cookie Crush' became a testament to this success, growing from 0 to 3 million users within a week and becoming the most successful Match-3 Instant Game at the time. We've since launched other successful titles like 'Solitaire Story' and 'Bubble Shooter Pro,' which became the largest game on Facebook Instant Games. We are passionate about creating hypersocial games that billions of people can play together, and we partner closely with major platforms like Facebook and Samsung to achieve this. Our portfolio now includes over 400 hyper-casual games on our innovative HTML5 games platform, which helps our partners engage and retain their users. We are a remote-first company, fostering a culture of proactive, independent teams with the freedom to innovate and create fun, everlasting Instant Games.
