We are sofatutor, an innovative educational video platform headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Our journey began in 2008 with a simple idea born from a personal need. Our founder, Stephan Bayer, was a student at Humboldt University in Berlin preparing for a mathematics exam. To better grasp the complex subject matter, he created a short educational video and shared it with his fellow students. The overwhelmingly positive response sparked the vision for sofatutor: a comprehensive online learning platform designed to make education more accessible, engaging, and effective for students of all ages. Today, we are proud to be the most extensive online learning platform in the German-speaking world, and we are excited to be expanding our reach to the United States and the United Kingdom.

Our mission is to empower students to achieve their full potential by providing them with the tools to learn at their own pace. We believe that every student learns differently, and our platform is built to cater to these individual needs. We offer a vast library of over 11,000 learning videos, more than 44,000 interactive exercises, and thousands of printable worksheets covering a wide range of subjects for all grade levels, from elementary school to high school graduation. Our content is meticulously created by a dedicated in-house team of educators, designers, and video editors to ensure it is not only curriculum-aligned but also engaging and easy to understand. We are a team of over 250 passionate individuals committed to revolutionizing the digital learning landscape and creating a product that makes learning fun. We are constantly innovating, adding new topics, exercise formats, and educational games to our platform to provide the best possible learning experience.
