Beyond Smartpricing, we've launched a suite of products over the past few years that is growing by more than 10% month-over-month. Our goal is to become one of the leading global players in our industry.

What Will You Do?

Our product and technology teams are building a platform of solutions that will help accommodation providers optimize the way they run their business. We are investing a lot in R&D with the intention to double the amount of products we host on our platform, and as such we are expanding our engineering team.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems. You will design and develop robust backend services, focusing on architecture, system integration, and handling high concurrency. If you have strong Node.js skills and a deep understanding of distributed systems, this role is for you.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing robust backend systems using primarily Node.js
  

• Architecting scalable, distributed infrastructures that can handle high concurrency and throughput
  

• Integrating diverse systems with precision and long-term maintainability in mind
  

• Contributing to technical decisions that impact architecture, performance, and reliability
  

• Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver product features end to end
  

• Taking ownership of performance, monitoring, and system health across environments

What Are We Looking For?

• 4+ years of backend experience, with deep expertise in Node.js
  

• Strong knowledge of system design, distributed architectures, and concurrency models
  

• Experience building and maintaining high-load systems with attention to scalability and fault tolerance
  

• Confident working with microservices, message queues, event driven environments, and inter-service communication
  

• Familiarity with infrastructure topics (e.g., containerization, deployment pipelines) — not provider specific, but you speak the language of architecture
  

• Passion for clean code, maintainability, and performance optimization
  

• A collaborative mindset, with clear communication and a drive to build well-integrated systems
